Journal Entry #5

This past Thursday and Friday I worked on our facebook page by trying to invite more members to the group, and I posted some new information about FGM on the site. Also, our group wants to create holiday cards that could be sold to be sold. All the profits from the cards would go to bringing awarness about FGM, and these cards could be used as a tax right off. So, people would know exactly where there tax money would be going to. I also continued to write more for the speaking part pf the presentation during class Tuesday. I spent about 3 hours working.

    I really enjoyed your group's presentation and I think you did a great job. The idea for a facebook page was a great way to get your message across. It was interesting learning about FGM because we don't hear much about it in the media nowadays.
